Highly coveted by collectors of early Disney merchandise, the Colson Mickey Mouse “Velocipede” was pedal assisted by none other than Mickey Mouse himself, with his orange (not yellow) shoes working the pedals. Children had the choice of a 20” or 12” front wheel design, and most of these trikes were available in green, though some red models also were produced. Unfortunately, the Mickey Mouse velocipede was produced for only one year, in 1934, so they are extremely rare and hard to come by.
